The 2023 AAFM Conference will be held this year at a new location, the Marriott Shoals Hotel and Spa situated along the Tennessee River in Florence, Alabama.  Join us in this wonderful setting for an opportunity to learn from and network with other floodplain managers from around the state and region. To accommodate those of you unable to attend in person, we will be making provisions to host the technical sessions virtually. Additional login and access information will be sent out to those who register for the virtual option.  For anyone who has guests attending any of the socials, please register the guests as well.  The cost for those guests will be $50/guest for 12 yrs and up and no cost for under 12 yrs.  If you need to pay for your guest separately, there are options to do so:

1. Make two payments online, a partial payment for your registration and make separate payment for guest(s) to complete the balance.

2. Submit paper registration form with separate payments for you and your guest(s).

3. Pay for all or balance difference in person at conference.

General Conference Information

Please join us on the as we embark on yet another Alabama Association of Floodplain Managers Fall Conference. We are planning for another hybrid conference consisting of both in-person & virtual training sessions for those unable or not ready to travel. To accommodate those of you unable to attend in person, we will be making provisions to host the technical sessions virtually. Additional login and access information will be sent out to those who register for the virtual option. For those who choose to learn remotely, we will have live events each day. A draft agenda will be available soon with more information about the program. 

For those that will be joining us in-person, the Marriott Shoals is well equipped with very spacious and comfortable meeting spaces for us to utilize.
